Let's first take a look at the slightly less syncopated of the two: Basic DnB Beat #1. Cymbal: 1,3,5,7,9,11,13,15. Snare: 5 and 13. Kick: 1 and 11
Well, for me it went like this: Download lots and lots of breakbeats. Download a bunch of synths/patches for those synths. Start playing around in your DAW with those breaks, chopping them up and trying to layer bits of several on top of one another. Start adding some synths, maybe a bassline or just some FX stabs.
