I happen to have a Z6 and the 24-70mm/f2.8 S myself. I just captured this image outdoors at 24mm, f2.8. I am in California and it was about 3:30pm. I merely scaled the image down to 1000 pixels across, with no other post processing. 24-70mm/f2.8 S @ 24mm, wide open f2.8. View: original size. shuncheung's gear list:
The Nikon Z 24-70mm f2.8 S is a professional general-purpose zoom designed for Nikon’s full-frame Z-series mirrorless cameras. Announced in February 2019, it’s the fifth Z-mount lens, following the Z 14-30mm f4 S, Z 24-70mm f4 S, Z 35mm f1.8 S and Z 50mm f1.8 S, but crucially is the first native zoom with a fast f2.8 focal ratio. Like the Z range cameras and other lenses, the 24-70mm f/2.8 lens is fully weather-sealed and also includes a fluorine coating for repelling water, dust and dirt. At the time of writing, the Nikon Z 24-70mm f/2.8 S lens retails for around £2,199, making it the most expensive lens in the Z line-up to date. The NIKKOR Z 24-70mm f/2.8 S, one of the high-performance S-Line models, is a fast standard zoom lens with f/2.8 maximum aperture covering the frequently used focal-length range from wide-angle 24 mm to 70 mm. Superior optical performance is realized by fully utilizing the latest optical technologies while maximizing the high flexibility inI also own the 14-24 f/2.8 S + 100-400 on order. If I keep the 24-70, I would have a gap from 70 to 100 which kind bothers me. I don't need the 2.8 but I feel like this is kind of a downgrade already owning the top standard lens available.
