Thanks for the review. Ultimately it is a more affordable offering than the 24-70 f2.8 with a little less quality. Personally I would have liked to see something more innovative like a 35-85 f2.8 or even f2 lens for portraiture. Now that would make a new lens interesting beyond simply price.

I happen to have a Z6 and the 24-70mm/f2.8 S myself. I just captured this image outdoors at 24mm, f2.8. I am in California and it was about 3:30pm. I also own the 14-24 f/2.8 S + 100-400 on order. If I keep the 24-70, I would have a gap from 70 to 100 which kind bothers me.
