set your graphics to medium. if that doesnt work set them to low. if you are still crashing there are user made patches that seem to work. the game doesnt play well with graphics set to max for many systems. espec if you blow the reqs out of the water like mine does. If you imported you DA:O save into DA:A, the Awakening save counts as a Dragon Age Origins and as a Dragon Age Awakening save file at the same time. Basically importing the awakening one also would import all the information regarding Origins and so on.
